Alona Tal

Alona Tal, an Israeli-American actress and singer was born on the 20th of October 20, 1983 in Herzliya, Israel. Following her service as a member of the Israeli Defense Forces, she began her professional career. She made her acting debut in an Israeli film in 2003. In 2003, she appeared in two TV series in the country. She she also tried her hand at music making several tracks in collaboration with Israeli rapper Subliminal. Tal was moved in with her sister in New York to take a vacation from her professional life. In the hit song "Party to Damascus" she performed a duet with Wyclefjean from Haiti. She also was able to establish herself as a star on American television, starting with a recurring part in the series Veronica Mars: She originally attempted to audition for the lead role however creator Rob Thomas wrote a new character just for her. Tal later snagged an ongoing role in the short-lived CBS series. After making the move to New York, he appeared in two TV shows in Israel. Wyclef Jean was her singer. Hebrew is her first language. Came in second for the role as Veronica on Veronica Mars (2004).Originally auditioned for Veronica Mars (2004) and was Rob Thomas' second choice for the title role. Thomas loved her so much that he designed the character of Meg Manning specifically for her. She was a member of the Israel Defense Forces. Her parents are Jewish and her father is Turkish/Jewish and she has a Polish/Jewish mother. As Adrian's daughter, she plays Monk's murderous wife in the finale of the season finale of Monk (2002).Has had a daughter named Charlie Ferraez (b.March 7, 2017), with her husband Marcos A. Ferraez.
