Morgan was born July 2, 1989 , to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan. Morgan and her siblings Jeni and Jeri were raised in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles. Morgan was a multi-sport athlete throughout her childhood , but did not favor soccer until she was 14. Then she joined the Cypress Elite club team, winning the Coast Soccer League under-16 championship and finishing in third place in the bracket for under-19 players. Morgan continued to refine her soccer skills at Diamond Bar High School. Morgan was selected as an All-American Athlete by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). She also played for states and regional divisions of the Olympic Development Program (ODP).
